FAQs

  • Can I do both races?
    • Yes, just let us know the category you are racing.

  • Can I jump in and do the Category 4 race even though I’m a Cat 3? I will go slow. I just can’t do the later race because of a previous engagement.
    • The answer is, “I’m really sorry but maybe you should plan better. No, you cannot race in a lower category than you are even if you aren’t in it to win it.”

  • I’ve been killing it out there and winning races. I think I will upgrade right now to a Cat 2.
    • Oh, I’m sorry. But you can’t do that. You need to go through OBRA. Just email them and they determine whether you can be upgraded. You can self-select any of the lower categories.
