A Letter from our Executive Director – Oct. 21, 2025
Dear Friends of the HCF,
My name is Molly Cogswell-Kelley and I’m writing on behalf of the Horner Cycling Foundation. We are a non-profit youth road cycling program that seeks to reduce financial barriers to participating in the sport of road cycling. The Horner Cycling Foundation was established to engage kids in marginalized and BIPOC communities who wish to participate in the sport but don’t have access to resources or support to do so. The program has been very successful to date: we currently have 36 juniors on our team who range in ages from 7 to 14 years old. There are many more kids in our community who want to participate, and we’d love to be able to help them.
Since 2023, we’ve been making a positive impact on the lives of Central Oregon juniors by providing free road bikes, free Castelli kits, free weekly coaching from April-August, and free local racing. To continue this critical work, we are hosting an online auction from November 17th – November 30th, 2025. This event is a vital source of funding that allows us to help kids achieve their road cycling dreams.
As a local business and vital community member, we hope that you might be interested in donating an item or experience to the auction or financial contribution or both!
If you are interested in donating, please contact me by November 10, 2025 at molly@hornerlawllp.com.
Thank you for your time and consideration. We look forward to partnering with you to make a positive impact for kids in our community.
Sincerely,
Molly Cogswell-Kelley
